There are currently more than 30 R&D engineers, covering fields such as polymer science, chemistry, fluid mechanics, and mechanics. From membrane materials, membrane modules to membrane applications, and from microfiltration membranes, ultrafiltration membranes, nanofiltration membranes to reverse osmosis membranes, they conduct R&D and innovation of membrane products for different application scenarios and water quality conditions.

★Specialty Membrane Material R&D Laboratory

Collaborating with well-known universities and research institutions both domestically and internationally, a membrane material research institute is jointly established. Based on the R&D goals of high pollution resistance, high flux, and high adaptability separation membranes, research is conducted on the film formation mechanism, film-making formula, membrane material properties, differentiated design, and large-scale preparation technology of polymer membranes for various application fields and scenarios of membranes.

★Specialty Membrane Module R&D Laboratory

Using computer simulation technology and intelligent data analysis systems, structural models are designed for different types of membrane modules, simulating the internal structure, hydraulic flow state, mass transfer effect, etc., of membrane modules under various application scenarios, and testing their application effects to effectively guide the R&D of membrane modules. Multiple types of specialized flat-sheet membrane modules, wound membranes, and disc tube membrane modules have been successfully developed.

Meifute collaborates with the Chinese Academy of Chemical Sciences, the AFM Research Institute of the University of Tokyo, Japan, and other institutions to jointly develop many advanced film-making technologies and processes, incorporating Industry 4.0 intelligent manufacturing, designing and building fully automated production lines for products such as reverse osmosis membranes, nanofiltration membranes, ultrafiltration membranes, etc., with proprietary intellectual property rights, specifically for standardized, modular production of a full range of specialty membrane products and complete sets of equipment.

Scientific and efficient production and management models can achieve rational allocation of resources and precise control of the production process, significantly improving production efficiency and greatly ensuring the quality of specialty membrane products. The entire lifecycle of membrane sheets, modules, and systems is controllable and traceable, greatly saving labor, reducing production costs, and conserving resources.

Currently, Meifute is among the few domestic brands that possess independent R&D and production capabilities for reverse osmosis membranes (RO membranes), nanofiltration membranes (NF membranes), and ultrafiltration membranes (UF membranes). Various specialized wastewater treatment membranes such as the highly pollution-resistant DTRO membranes, wound membranes, and flat-sheet membranes (MBR membranes) have been applied in more than 500 cases.
